Overhead UV-A Lamps
The PROMAG ALPHA II series is a range of heavy-duty overhead UV-A lamps for high-sensitivity NDT. In a fluorescent inspection booth, everything is a variable — penetrant, wash, developer. ALPHA II makes sure the light isn't.
High-sensitivity inspection comes down to three things: a clean UV-A spectrum, thermal stability through a long run, and coverage wide enough to inspect a part in one pass. ALPHA II holds all three — IP64 sealed, uniform coverage up to 60 × 50 cm at 1,000 μW/cm², visible light held to ≤ 20 lux, and modular from a single head to a full inspection canopy.
Active Cooling Fan Module
The Generation 2 ALPHA II overhead lamps feature advanced, custom active thermal management, significantly suppressing LED junction temperature rises. This guarantees stable, flawless light output during continuous long-hour runs, keeping the equipment working perfectly for much longer.
Total light decay is strictly suppressed to a mere 2.4% over continuous runtimes.
Boosts operational lifespan from the standard 30,000 hours up to 50,000 hours, slashing total cost of ownership.
Delivers flawless spectral consistency to eliminate the risk of false-calls or missed flaws due to brightness degradation.
